ABOUT US

We are Franca and Stefano, an Italian couple who fell in love with Curaçao and decided to make it home. In 2014, we moved from Trieste, Italy, with our two children, Caterina and Tommaso, who grew up surrounded by the island’s light and multiple cultures.

Since then, we’ve dedicated our lives to hospitality and tourism, creating places where travelers can feel the real soul of Curaçao. Our BnB, Makré Boutique Apartments, combines Italian style with Caribbean charm, inspired by the island’s old fishermen’s district.

We also run Capri Boutique at the Renaissance Mall, where we share a touch of Mediterranean elegance with locals and visitors alike. At Makré, every guest becomes part of our story — a story of sun, sea, and the joy of feeling at home far from home.
