Playa Kalki

Playa Kalki is also known as “Alice in Wonderland Beach”. Located on the northwest coast of Curaçao, this small, intimate beach also offers crystal clear water. However, you will have to arrive here on time: most (paid) beds and parasols are often already occupied in the afternoon and there is actually no room to put your towel down somewhere. What makes Playa Kalki special is that you can enjoy snorkeling and even diving here. There is a colorful coral reef a few dozen meters from the beach.

Playa Cas Abao

Cas Abao offers you a white sandy beach, crystal clear waters, waving palm trees and many gazebos for shade. The beach combines a natural country setting with all the conveniences of a full service beach. Cas Abao is ideal for swimmers of all ages and its reefs are a paradise for snorkelers and scuba divers. A raft for sunbathing and playing is moored off the beach. There is a bar, restaurant, showers and a massage facility. Open daily from 8 am to 6 pm.

Close to Playa Kenepa Grandi is his little brother, Playa Kenepa Chiki. This beach is excellent for anyone looking for a more intimate and peaceful atmosphere. When visiting this spot, you can enjoy reading a book, sunbathing and explore the sea while snorkeling and diving.

Klein Curaçao

An island 2 hours off the coast of Curaçao. Curaçao's longest and whitest beach is on Klein Curaçao, an uninhabited island eight miles off the southeast coast. Dive operators and charter boats take passengers out to the oversized volcanic rock for beach parties, cookouts, and fantastic diving. The shore is covered in soft white sand and the water is crystal clear, but there is little shade. The northeastern side routinely has calm water with gentle waves. If you want to go over here, check with dive operators or sailboat charters offering trips featuring snorkeling, refreshments, and usually a picnic or barbecue lunch.

Santa Martha Bay

Mareni Beach at Santa Martha Baai is a beautiful beach located on the northwest side of Curacao. This remote beach is mostly coral with some sand, but it has crystal clear water that is great for swimming and snorkeling. You'll want to wear some water shoes or flip flops here. You park right on the beach and the parking is free. Because of the coral, you definitely want to wear water shoes or flip flops, but it's totally worth visiting.

The lovely beach at Playa Lagun is popular with divers, snorkelers, fishermen and locals. Rocky cliffs along the long, narrow channel provide homes for a huge variety of reef fish, and a great place for turtles to hang out, hoping for a tit-bit from the fishermen's catches. The drop off at the end of the channel is healthy, vibrant and covered in corals and large sponges.
